Deacons recently advised on the formation of a partnership between Alpha Animation, a Chinese online gaming company, Catchplay, a Taiwan-based distributor, and the executive producers, relating to a novel multi-picture co-financing and distribution arrangement with New Regency Productions.  

The first New Regency film to be released under the deal is The Revenant, which took top prizes at this year’s Golden Globes on 10 Jan 2016, including Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Actor – Drama for star Leonardo DiCaprio and Best Director for Alejandro G. Inarritu.
